Helen needs no introduction as every indian cinema lover knows her deeply. Her dance moves still creates sensation whenever her tracks played. Helen was not indian as she was born in Burma on 21 October 1939 to an Anglo-Indian father and Burmese mother.They were three brother-sisters. Helen debut in bollywood in year 1951 but came in limelight with the song "Mera Naam Chin Chin Chu" in film Howrah Bridge, which was sung by Geeta Dutt. Helen nominated many times for filmfare awards but won Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award in Mahesh Bhatt's film Lahu Ke Do Rang released in year 1979. In 2009 Indian government rewarded Helen with Padma Shri award.
